Businesses are at risk of significant hidden costs, in both time and money, as result of distraction in the workplaces caused by noise. While decision makers recognize that noise is a complaint of their employees they may not be aware of the bottom line implications of this issue.

Our goal was to address the issue of hidden costs to productivity and bottom line head on, and provide solutions to this problem through a series of digital and interactive features residing on Plantronics.com and eventually leading to Plantronics hardware and software solutions.

We ended up with a microsite that is a veritable tour de force of facts, insights, tools and trends on the effects of Noise In The Workplace. Features included results from several high profile surveys, a helpful how-to guide designed to help people create an effective noise management strategy for their organization. We even developed an interactive calculator that calculated lost productivity and time and tabulated them into impact on profitability.
